An App-Free Hotel Lock Management System Smart Solutions for Convenience
ZKBioHLMS is an App-free hotel lock management system created by ZKTeco. The system is comprehensive yet highly secure, convenient, and efficient for hotels.
Guests staying at the hotel can use the smartphone as a “room key” and the user-friendly HTML5 interface to check in and request room services. Prior to their stay, guests can access the ZKBioHLMS by clicking on the hyperlink sent to them via SMS or email from ZKTeco’s cloud server.

ZKBioHLMS uses zigbee communication for real-time remote control, remote monitoring, and remote record checks of deployed hotel locks. This system allows the hotel to manage its locks more effectively. Besides, this hotel lock management system has an access control feature, which allows the hotel to control who has access to different areas of the hotel. The system can ensure safety and security of guests and staff.
Also, ZKBioHLMS includes a module for controlling elevator access. This module allows the hotel to control who can use the elevator and prevent unauthorized access. ZKBioHLMS is an ideal option for hotel business which simplifies guest management and enhances hotel safety and security.
Key Features
Integrated and Smart Software Solution
Clients could use the software to manage hotel locks, HTML5 links, countermanding, order canceling, verification via SMS or
emails, and messages and notifications to guests about their reservation. Please note that only notifications sent via emails are
free of charge. Clients will be responsible for paying the charges incurred for each SMS.
Smartphone as a Room Key, and Room Services via HTML5 Web
Once a reservation is completed, ZKTeco’s cloud will send an HTML5 link to the guest via SMS or email. The guest could open
the link via his/her smartphone, then he/she could use the smartphone as the room key. What’s more, guests could request
room services by simply clicking on an icon on the HTML5 web. This action will notify the hotel receptionist or butler team of
the guest’s needs and which room requires assistance. After receiving the request, the staff can contact the guest to better
understand their requirements. This technology enables remote management of hotel services, providing guests with a more
convenient and accessible experience.
Remote Door Unlocking in Emergency
Hotel staff sometimes may need to open a room’s door under certain special circumstances. For example, when a hotel guest
forgets to bring the room card, or when a hotel employee loses his or her employee card in a room, or when there is an
emergency evacuation, the front desk staff can use the software to remotely unlock or lock any room doors.
One-Card-Solution
Our one-card solution grants guests access to hotel amenities, including rooms, elevators, floors, gyms, spas, restaurants,
coffee shops, and swimming pools. All of the guest’s access rights are encoded onto a single key card, making it easy for
guests to enjoy everything the hotel offers. With this solution, guests only need one card to access all the hotel services and
facilities, making it an ideal choice for mid-range and high-end hotels, such as luxury hotels, business hotels, and boutique
hotels.
Real-time Monitoring and Generation of Various Types of Reports
Hotel staff does not need to go to each room door to check the power of the door lock at all. The power and access records
are uploaded to the ZKBioHLMS and can be retrieved anytime. What’s more? Hotel locks are connected to the ZKBioHLMS. All
information about the hotel lock will be displayed on the ZKBioHLMS. Hotels could monitor and remotely unlock/close on the
platform. The hotel staff and manager can inform the hotel door locks if there is a loss card report or emergency event. It is
very convenient for daily hotel management.
API for 3rd-Party Hotel Management Software and OTA Platform Integration
The solution supports an inter-industry API exchange platform for integrating ZKBioHLMS and other 3rd-party hotel
applications, allowing data communication among different systems. Additionally, the solution offers API to access the OTA
platform to obtain more reservation orders to promote the business.
Management & Overview Anytime and Anywhere
With the B/S architecture, the hotel staff can access the ZKBioHLMS at any time and from anywhere once the IP address of the
platform is mapped on the Internet. This feature allows for convenient and reliable remote access to the ZKBioHLMS, enabling
staff to manage hotel operations without constraints.
Customizable Hotel Logo on HTML5 Web
Hotels could upload their hotel logos on the ZKBioHLMS. Then the logo will display on the HTML5 webpage.
